Port Townsend, WA – The Port of Port Townsend has selected Eron Berg, the current city Supervisor/Attorney for Sedro-Woolley as the new executive director of the Port of Port Townsend.

Port Commission Chair told the Port Townsend Leader, “This was a very tough decision to make. We had four great finalists. Each brought clear strengths to the job. But we fell Eron has the right mix of skills and experience to lead the port through its next phase. We’re excited to work with him.”

The other three finalists were listed as Washington State Patrol Captain Travis Matheson, Andy Haub, former Water Resources Director for the City of Olympia and Anthony Warfield, Facilities Manager for the Port of Tacoma.
