If you’ve never seen local musicians Cory Vincent and Chris Eger jam together, then your life is incomplete.
This Thursday, November 14th from 7-9pm, local musicians Cory Vincent (Sedro Woolley) and Chris Eger (Mount Vernon) will be performing together at The Old Edison.
Both Cory and Chris are accomplished blues/rock guitarists with their own bands, as well as being friends who love to jam together whether it be at a venue or live on social media.
Once a month they play together at The Old Edison. Every time I have been to one of their shows there is a standing ovation. EVERY TIME!! And that is very rare in a bar/tavern type of setting. It’s hard for me to explain the electricity between these two. What always comes to my mind is that they “finish each other’s musical sentences”. They’re so in tune with one another that they don’t even need to use words.
However, when they do use words, it’s like a comedy routine. It’s a very relaxed and homey atmosphere. These two amazing musicians are able to pull the whole audience in as if we were all sitting around the campfire with friends.
Most of the crowd are monthly regulars to the Chris & Cory show. I guarantee that if you come out on Thursday, you will become a regular as well.
Thursday, November 14th from 7-9pm at The Old Edison pub. 21+ No cover charge (although tips appreciated if you like what you hear).
