MARBLEMOUNT, Wash. – Rachel Lakoduk, a 28-year-old woman from Moses Lake, has been missing since Thursday after going for a hike near Marblemount.
The family of Rachel believes that she might have taken shelter in a cabin at Hidden Lake Lookout. Her vehicle was found at the trail head.
Due to heavy snowfall and treacherous conditions, Search and Rescue has had to turn back twice, but this morning assembled an experienced crew of rescue mountain climbers. They are going in today for another aggressive attempt to retrieve Rachel from the lookout.
The family is urging anyone who may have seen her on the trail to alert authorities.
