Three Injured in SR20 Crash Near Wing Lane

Skagit County, WA- The Washington State Patrol responded to a two vehicle head-on crash on State Route 20 near Wing Lane around 3:35 a.m. on July 7th, 2019.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 29-year old Felix Wren of Anacortes was traveling Eastbound on State Route 20 at Wing Lane in a gold 2013 Chevrolet Cruze when Troopers say he passed a vehicle at a slow rate and struck an oncoming gray 1996 Honda Accord head-on.  Wren was injured and transported to United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.

The Driver of the Honda Accord, 42-year old Ball Leslie of Olympia was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. A passenger in the Honda, 38-year old Elijah Scott of Olympia was injured and transported to United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.

Troopers say they believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash and both vehicles were impounded to the Washington State Patrol bullpen in Burlington.

The cause and any possible charges in the crash are pending.
