Edmonds, WA – A 36-year old Mount Vernon man was arrested on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 and booked into the Snohomish County Jail after he allegedly fled from a vehicle crash in the 23600 block of Highway 99 in Snohomish County on Monday evening.
According to information from the Edmonds Police Department, the investigation started around 5:15 p.m. Monday when Edmonds Police Officers responded to a crash in the 23600 block of Highway 99. Witnesses told Officers that a male driver from one of the vehicles had fled the scene on foot. Multiple Officers searched for the suspect but he was not located.
The suspect, who Edmonds police say has previous DUI convictions, was located at a residence in Bellevue and taken back to the Edmonds Police Station for questioning after he fled the scene.
A 41-year old woman from Seattle was injured in the crash and transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for suspicion of DUI (Liquor), Felony Hit and Run, Vehicular Assault, Ignition Interlock Violations and Driving with a Suspended License 2nd Degree. He is currently being held in Lieu of $100,000 bail.
