Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a four vehicle crash on State Route 2 near milepost 7 around 6:00 a.m. on October 9th, 2018.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 33-year old Cody Terpko of Snohomish was traveling Westbound on State Route 2 in a white 2001 Nissan Xterra when he crossed the centerline, striking three Eastbound vehicles, including a blue 2002 Ford Explorer being driven by a 82-year-old Richard Ochs of Evans before colliding head-on with a white 2017 Jeep Cherokee being driven by 49-year old Kenneth Holmes of Lake Stevens and then striking a gray 2017 Volkswagen Golf being driven by 61-year old Robert Lewis of Everett.

Troopers say all four drivers were wearing seat belts and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash. Lewis, Holmes and Terpko were all injured in the crash and transported to Providence Hospital for treatment. Ochs was not injured.

All four vehicles were totaled and  impounded for safe keeping by Top Notch Towing and Angel Transport.

Troopers listed the cause of the accident as “Inattention.”
