Two Dead in Crash on SR2 in Snohomish County

Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a three vehicle crash on Eastbound State Route 2 near milepost 7 around 10:02 p.m. on June 11th, 2018.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, a red 2003 Nissan Pickup was traveling Westbound on State Route 2 near Three Lakes Road when it crossed the center line and struck an Eastbound  red 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan head-on.  Both Drivers died at the scene. Neither driver has been identified by Troopers.

A third vehicle, a black 2004 Ford F-150 being driven by 45-year old Jennifer Henderson of Wenatchee was also traveling Eastbound and crossed the center line and struck the rear of the Dodge Caravan.

Both the driver of the Nissan Truck and the Dodge Caravan were pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Ford F-150 was not injured.  Four passengers in the Ford F-150 were also not injured. They were listed as 39-year old Westley Henderson of Wenatchee, 19-year old Josiah Henderson of Wenatchee, 17-year old Saydee Runkey of Everett, and 16-year old William Runkey of Wenatchee. 

Troopers say the cause of the crash is under investigation and no charges are pending.
