Sedro-Woolley, WA – A 49-year old Sedro-Woolley man has been booked into the Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of Voyeurism and is facing several additional charges in Whatcom County Superior Court after he allegedly video recorded sexual encounters with a woman without her permission at his Sedro-Woolley home before posting the videos online to a porn website.
According to court documents, including a probable cause affidavit of arrest obtained by skagitbreaking.com, a woman called the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office in January of 2018 to report that a friend of hers had notified her that they had viewed videos of her having sex with a man on a porn website. The woman then searched the porn website for videos of herself, which she found, before notifying law enforcement of the incident.
The Sedro-Woolley woman told investigators that she didn’t know she was being recorded while she was having sex with the suspect who she suspected of posting the videos online. She also said she did not give him or anyone else permission to take photos or video of her or to post any nude images or videos of her online.
Detectives believe the man used a hidden camera in the bedroom and bathroom of his home to secretly take photos and videos of the woman and possibly others.
The man has children in the home and Investigators confiscated several electronic devices from the mans home and plan to search the devices for any other possible additional victims.
The man is scheduled to be arraigned in Whatcom County Court at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 9th, 2018.
The man has been released from jail pending his next court hearing.
