Three Victims of Oak Harbor House Fire Identified

Oak Harbor, WA –  The Island County Sheriff’s Office has released the identifies of the woman and her two children who died in a house fire on  DeGraff Road in Oak Harbor on Sunday, December 18th, 2016.

According to the Island County Sheriff’s Office,  25-year old Laura White and her two children, 5-year old IvyLynn and 3-year old Imriel died in the fire.  Her husband was not home when the fire started and arrived on scene shortly after fire crews arrived.  He has been cooperating with investigators.

The fire was first reported around 4:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of DeGraff Road on North Whidbey Island.  Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to the scene and actively fought the fire for nearly an hour.

Fire and Law Enforcement  Investigators spent several days investigating the fire but now say they believe the fire was an accident.

An official cause of the fire has not been released
