Anacortes Couple Injured in Crash on I-90 in Kittitas County

Kittitas County, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a motorcycle crash on West I-90 near Milepost 98, 9 miles West of Ellensburg on May 29th, 2016 around 2:27 pm.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 52-year old Christopher Goldstein of Anacortes was Westbound on Interstate 90 in lane 2 of 2 when he made a maneuver into Lane 1 due to heavy traffic and lost control of his 2015 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The motorcycle came to rest on it’s right side in lane one.  Mr. Goldstein was injured and transported by Aid units to Kittitas Valley Healthcare.

A passenger on the motorcycle, 53-year old Teresa Goldstein of Anacortes was also injured and transported by aid units to Kittitas Valley Healthcare.

The motorcycle was towed by a private party.

The press memo states both riders were wearing US DOT Compliant helmets and have valid motorcycle operators licenses. Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash and the cause and charges are both listed as under investigation.
