MONROE, Wash. – Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue found a woman’s body late yesterday in the Skykomish River near the residence of 53 year-old Marianne Humble, who was last seen Monday afternoon. Search and Rescue teams will be out in the area searching for and gathering evidence and major crimes detectives continue to investigate Humble’s disappearance according to Shari Ireton, Director of Communications for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Identification of the body, as well as cause and manner of death, are pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Humble had no prior history of depression or disappearing and family members became concerned when she did not return to her home at the 14600 block of High Bridge Rd Monday night. She was reported missing by family members that day.
