  3. God bless everyone and may His angels watch over all of this sadness.  Prayers and loving thoughts to all…

  4. Just a quick note: Bill Welsh was working with Steve Neal and Steve Hadaway at the home of Amanda Lennick at the time. He was the electrician, Steve N was the plumber. Bill and his two sons have been life-long family friends

  5. There are no words when something so tragic happens suddenly and so many questions about so many people are left are unanswered.  I pray that all on this list are found.

  6. So sad and scary, please pray!

The family of Denver Harris continues to hear reports that he may be alive and has been transported to Harborview. There has been no substantiated evidence of this, but they are holding on to any hope right now. Any news, information or assistance is greatly appreciated. Please help with any confirmed information you may have!

My heart is filled with sadness. My hometown, the community I’ve been a part of for 24 years, is filled with sadness. Around 50 people unaccounted for & several already lost. Faces I recognise from our daily small town lives. And they just continue to grow, new faces added to the list of those missing. All you want to do is help. Help search, help find peace for your neighbours whose hearts are burdened with worry. But not all of us can do that, so we are filled with an unspeakable gratitude to those who are able to & who are searching, who are helping. And we continue to hope.

  12. My heart goes out to all of you!!!

  13. Simply Prayers for these folks to be located and for their families

Pretty sick of you to interject your ideology into this tragedy. Not knowing the difference between weather and climate or that even the IPCC has stopped attributing extreme weather events to climate change makes you ignorant as well as insensitive.
Prayers and condolences to all impacted by this disaster.

Steve Harris is my classmate from Flour Bluff in Corpus Christi  TX.  A really sweet man who comforted me via facebook while under a tornado warning with our electricity out.  Stayed with me online via my phone, tracking the storm on his computer, until we were safe.  I send all that comfort equally back to him and his family.

Thank you breakingskagit.com for giving of your time to help all those affected by the slide at OSO. I found a missing person, Tom Durnell, on this list for dear friends in Portland, Ore. The person looking is his cousin and dying of cancer. They are also wondering about his wife Debbie Durnell. If anyone knows if she is safe please post so I can relay the message.

  51. Please do take the time to update this list. The official Snohomish County website has released an accurate list of those who have been identified as victims of the Steelhead Landslide. It would help to define those who are still missing if this site would do the same.

entryholedia I went to high school with Steve Harris in Texas.  We, too, are devastated…  He stayed online on my phone with me until a tornado danger passed.  I was sitting in pitch black with no power in a wood paneled home and I had never been scared in storms before.  But with limbs hitting the house in the dark and it couldn’t be drowned out with a TV or radio, I was frightened.  Steve monitored our weather here from up there and let me know when it was clear.  I wish I could have comforted him during this.  When he said I was safe, I knew I was SAFE!.  The last time I talked with him was just a few months ago when he happened to be overseas and got a signal on his laptop and phone (he wasn’t always in range), but he was on his way to some important people and he was excitedly happy about it.  That may have been y’all?  Thank you for caring.  Laurie Lowthorp Roussel
