Snohomish County, WA-  The Washington State Patrol responded to a single motorcycle crash on the Southbound State Route 525 ramp to Southbound I-5 in Lynnwood.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol (WSP), 27-year old Andrew Everett of Lynnwood was traveling Southbound on State Route 525 on a Silver 2007 Suzuki Motorcycle when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck the concrete barrier on the left side. Troopers say Everett was ejected from the motorcycle over the barrier and fell down onto lane one of Southbound I-5.  Everett was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Troopers say Everett was wearing a USDOT compliant helmet at the time of the crash but did not have a valid motorcycle endorsement.

The motorcycle was impounded to Marys Towing for safe keeping.

The cause of the crash was listed as “driving too fast for the curve.” Possible charges are pending.
