Skagit County, WA – Forty-One of your favorite Skagit County restaurants are joining together on Thursday, May 17, 2018 for the 4th Annual Take a Bite for Skagit event.
When you dine at participating eateries on this date, a percentage of the sales will go to the Skagit Food Distribution Center. Participating restaurants are located in Anacortes, LaConner, Edison, Sedro-Woolley, Concrete, Burlington and Mount Vernon.
Everyone involved benefits from this delicious fundraiser! You’ll enjoy a great meal at one of the 41 participating eateries and Community Action Of Skagit County will be able to get produce from local farmers to 15 local food banks and meal programs.
Community Action of Skagit County is committed to providing healthy, high-quality food and nutrition education to hungry families. Through their partnership program, the Skagit Food Distribution Center has the capacity to move 2 million pounds of food, including fruits and vegetables from local farms. When you Take a Bite for Skagit, the yummy meal on your plate helps put nourishing food in the hands of people in need!
