Michelle Patterson Identified as Woman Killed in Sedro-Woolley House Fire

Sedro-Woolley, WA – Family and Friends of 46-year old Michelle R.  Patterson identified her as the woman who died in a house fire in the 1000 block of Sterling Street in Sedro-Woolley, Washington  around 1:04 a.m. on  Wednesday March 28th, 2018.

The Skagit County Coroner’s Office officially released her name on March 30th, 2018.  The cause and manner of death is pending further investigation and will be released once more information becomes available.

Michelle was a long time member of the Sedro-Woolley community and a long time employee of Fred Meyer, most recently working at the Bellingham Fred Meyer location.  She is survived by her two adult sons.

Sedro-Woolley Police stated the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen. The Fire Marshal has not released an official cause of the fire yet.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
