Burglary Suspects Attempt to Steal Firearms by Raming Vehicle Into Business

Burlington, WA – Officers with the City of Burlington Police Department responded to a burglary alarm in the 1300 block  of Bouslog Road around 3:30 a.m. on the morning of  February 6th 2018.

Arriving Officers found a vehicle had crashed through the front doors of the Skagit Shooting Range.  According to a release from the business,  four individuals in two vehicles attempted to steal firearms from the business by driving a car through the front doors.

No guns or ammunition were stolen during the attempted burglary due to the security system alarms and case protection in place by the business.

Damage to the front doors of the building was extensive and work crews were already on scene this morning cleaning up the mess.

The business is open normal hours today and Burlington Police Continue their investigation into the crime.
