Vouchers Offered For Disposal of Flood Damaged Debris

Skagit County, WA–  If you live in Skagit County and your house or property suffered flood damages during the Thanksgiving weekend, you can now pick up vouchers for free disposal of flood-damaged items and debris at two locations in Skagit County.

Residents can pick up a  voucher in person at the Commissioners Administration Building located at  1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon or at the East County Resource Center located at 45770 Main Street in Concrete.

Residents are limited to one voucher per household, and can dispose of no more than one pickup truck and trailer load of flood-damaged debris. Commercial Debris are not allowed.

To receive the voucher, residents will need to bring picture ID and proof of residency, such as a cable or electric bill.

Vouchers are good until December 31st, 2017 at the Skagit County Transfer Station on Ovenell Road or at the Sauk Transfer Station in Concrete.
