Big Lake, WA – Volunteer Emergency Personnel from the Big Lake Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on Walker Valley Road around 2:00 p.m. on August 5th, 2017.
According to witnesses the vehicle was traveling down Walker Valley Road and possibly had an equipment failure before the driver lost control of the vehicle and it hit a power pole before crossing the roadway and rolling over. There were three teens in the vehicle who were able to self extricate from the vehicle.
The three teens were transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon for treatment of minor injuries.
Puget Sound Energy said the crash knocked out power to 83 homes in the area. They estimate to have the power pole replaced and power restored by 10:30 p.m. this evening.
