Bow, WA- The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call around 3:37 p.m. on July 14th, 2017 for reports of a domestic dispute in the 4700 block of Wharf Street in Bow, WA.
According to a probable cause affidavit of arrest obtained by SkagitBreaking.com through a public records request, the caller reported to dispatchers that her 33-year old son, Lane Davis was being verbal and out-of-control.
Skagit 9-1-1 dispatched Sheriff’s Deputies to the incident. While the Deputies were en route to the scene, the caller dialed 9-1-1 again and stated her husband, Charles Davis had just been stabbed and was dead. The caller told dispatchers that her son had stabbed him.
A Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene and found Charles Davis deceased on the back porch of his residence. Lane Davis was located outside the residence with blood on his person and clothing and he was taken into custody without incident.
According to court documents, Lane Davis admitted to Deputies that he had stabbed his father in the chest because they had gotten into an argument and his father called him a Nazi and was trying to kick him out of the house.
He was booked into the Skagit County Jail on an investigative hold for Murder 1st Degree. He is currently being held in lieu of $1 million dollars bail.
