Hamilton Man Arrested For Vehicular Assault

Lyman, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a three-vehicle  collision on State Route 20 near milepost 75 in Lyman around 5:35 p.m. on June 11th, 2017.

According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, 65-year old Chris Adams of Hamilton was traveling Eastbound on State Route 20 in a white  2011 Kia Sedona when his vehicle struck a white 2011 Honda Pilot from behind.  The Honda Pilot  was being driven by 29-year old Wendy Brink of Concrete.

The collision forced the Honda Pilot to cross into the Westbound Lane of State Route 20 where it was hit by a Westbound 1997 Ford F-150 before coming to rest in a ditch. The  F-150 being driven by 48-year old Pamela Krause of Sedro-Woolley.

Mr. Adams was not injured, and booked into the Skagit County Jail on  an Investigative hold for Driving under the influence and vehicular assault.

Both drivers in the victim vehicles were injured and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. The press memo states a 6-year old juvenile passenger in the Honda Pilot was not seriously  inured.

31-year old Peter Angulo of Concrete was a passenger in the F-150 pickup and Troopers were unable to provide an updated  status on his condition.

The cause of the crash is listed as Driving Under the Influence.
