Everett Police Department Attempts to ID Burglary Suspect

Everett, WA – Everett Police Officers responded to an alarm at the 76 Gas  Station (2802 Hewitt Ave) around 1:30 a.m. on May 15th, 2017.

Officers found the front glass door broken and a white Honda leaving the business in a reckless manner. Due to safety concerns, officers did not pursue the Honda.

Surveillance video shows the Honda circled the business several times before using the front bumper to break the glass doors. The Honda left, but returned minutes later so the male driver could enter the business to steal cigarettes and scratch tickets. As officers arrived, the vehicle sped away.

The white male driver wore a blue hoodie with green writing, light-colored jeans and black shoes.

Based on the investigation, it has been determined the white Honda had previously been reported as a  stolen vehicle.

Detectives believe this male also burglarized Buds Garage (3015 Everett Ave) about 3 hours later by also using the Honda’s bumper to force their doors open.
